Job summary

YW Calgary is seeking an Associate Director, Philanthropy & Development to lead fundraising strategy and revenue growth. This senior role partners with the Vice President, Advancement & Engagement to drive plans and ensure donor-centered practices across programs.

You will manage an active donor portfolio, build strategic engagement approaches, and lead a high-performing team while overseeing budgets, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to advance YWCA Calgary's mission and impact.

Qualifications

• Seven to ten years of senior fundraising experience with revenue goals
• Proven multi-channel fundraising success
• Experience with donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and renewal
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional collaboration
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting and risk management
• Experience with fundraising CRM systems, data governance and reporting

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term fundraising plans aligned with strategy
• Lead campaigns across annual giving, major gifts, grants, events and partnerships
• Manage donor portfolio and communications
• Oversee budgets and financial performance
