Job summary

Citylitics is hiring a full stack developer to modernize an established Django + React web application while shipping smaller, customer-facing solutions end-to-end. You will co-define target patterns, with deep expertise in either backend (Django/DRF, Python) or frontend (React/TypeScript) and solid competence in the other.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years building and maintaining production web applications with depth in backend or frontend.
• Experience in a cloud stack (GCP preferred) with serverless services and service-to-service auth.
• Working knowledge of RBAC, SSO, MFA/2FA, IAM, and tier-based gating.
• Strong ability to design, document, and iterate on software architecture.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and data-oriented problem solving.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, telemetry, and database design/denormalization.

Responsibilities

• Design documents and run technical demos to align stakeholders before building.
• Sequence backend/frontend behaviors with accurate complexity estimates.
• Design and ship self-contained solutions to customers.
• Modernize legacy code and upgrade core frameworks.
• Contribute to cloud deployments and maintain a live production codebase.
