Job summary

Intact Financial Corporation is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer, Full Stack (Python/React) to join our AI Engineering team and develop production-grade AI and data products for one of Canada’s largest P&C insurers.

You’ll contribute across the full technology stack—from information extraction and LLM-powered features to distributed systems, frontend platforms, cloud infrastructure, and delivery automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, REST/GraphQL, and AWS.
• Experience with ML libraries and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate reliable services and data pipelines in production.
• Develop end-to-end information extraction solutions using ML and OCR.
• Take AI features from prototype to production with cloud providers.
• Design distributed system components with queues, backpressure, and fault handling.
• Maintain frontend components and TS-based libraries in a monorepo.
