Citylitics Inc. is seeking a Junior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines powering customer-facing solutions.

You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional team, leveraging Airflow, BigQuery, and AI-assisted tooling to deliver high-quality data products. The role emphasizes strong Python/SQL skills, data modeling, and production stability, with a hybrid in-office requirement at Citylitics' Toronto office (3+ days/week).

Qualifications

• Requires solid Python and SQL skills.
• 2+ years building and maintaining data pipelines with Airflow/Cloud Composer.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and BigQuery usage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production data pipelines using Airflow and BigQuery.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to define data requirements and data models.
• Translate client requirements into technical solutions for Custom Solutions work.
• Contribute to ongoing data infrastructure improvements and adopt AI tools to boost productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
