Job summary

Corus Orthodontists in Calgary is seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join our growing practice network. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will handle full cycle accounting for our orthodontal practices and support monthly financial reporting while building strong relationships with practices and internal stakeholders.

This permanent, full-time, hybrid role requires post-secondary accounting education and 4+ years of experience, advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables), and the

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in accounting or related field is required.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, pivot tables, formatting).
• Prior experience in SAGE Intacct is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Complete full cycle accounting for orthodontal practices.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with practices and internal stakeholders.
• Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts including AR and AP ledgers.
• Assist in monthly financial reporting to practices.
• Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger.
• Provide administrative and operational support as needed.
• Complete various ad hoc tasks and initiatives.
