Job summary

Superior Propane Inc. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance professional in Peel Region to own preventive maintenance across the assigned fleet. You will determine service timing, define scope at service, and group work to minimize downtime while aligning with analytics-driven intervals.

Experience with telematics like Samsara or Motive and knowledge of HOS are important. Hybrid work options are available and a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• College diploma or certification in logistics, supply chain, or a technical field.
• 3 to 5 years in fleet maintenance or a heavy-duty maintenance environment.
• Experience coordinating maintenance across multiple vehicles and vendors.
• Working understanding of dispatch, routing, and hours-of-service constraints.
• Experience with fleet maintenance and telematics software (Samsara or Motive).
• Familiarity with fuel delivery or specialized vocational fleets.

Responsibilities

• Own PM compliance for the assigned fleet and ensure preventive maintenance happens on time.
• Determine service timing balancing maintenance needs with availability.
• Define work scope at service time, grouping work to reduce downtime.
• Operate PM programs across truck types using triggers defined by analytics.
• Track engine-hour and PTO-based intervals; consider pump runtime in wear assessment.
• Convert analytics into scheduled, completed repairs before failure.
• Prioritize work based on cost-benefit from analytics.
