Job summary

SMS Equipment is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Administrator to support the Operations fleet with reporting, compliance monitoring, and data-driven insights. The role audits and analyzes fleet data, coordinates reviews with branch operations, and drives continuous improvement across maintenance programs.

Work Location: Acheson, AB; Salary: CAD 54,000–57,000 annually; Schedule: Mon-Fri; Hybrid work model allowing up to 2 remote days per week.

Qualifications

High school diploma and/or secondary education in Administration, Business Analysis or related field.
2–3 years of relevant administrative or analytical experience.
General knowledge of commercial fleet programs and maintenance processes.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate or higher), Outlook, and Teams.
Experience with Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Visio is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a busy environment.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the confidence to lead meetings.
Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.

Responsibilities

Audit, analyze, and report fleet maintenance performance and compliance data using Power BI and Excel.
Coordinate monthly fleet review meetings with branch Operations teams.
Report on CVIP scheduling and records during monthly meetings.
Oversee PM programs and tire changes; monitor wheel stud compliance.
Track non-compliance trends and support corrective action.
Support GPS/telematics issue resolution with Operations and vendors.
Maintain accurate fleet inspection and maintenance records.
Provide backup coverage for Corporate Reception.
Other duties as required.
