National Bank of Canada seeks a Manager, Financing Solutions to support mid-market commercial banking across Western Canada. You will underwrite and structure complex credit solutions, partnering with relationship managers to drive growth and manage risk in a fast-growing team.

You will analyze financial statements, prepare board sheets, negotiate terms, and guide other team members. The role offers hybrid work arrangements across Kelowna, Kamloops, or Prince George, with a focus on client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 4 years, or NB University Program diploma with 8 years.
• Experience in commercial credit
• Experience analyzing financial statements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with partners

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality credit analyses per Credit Centre standards.
• Structure credit applications with board sheet structuring.
• Collaborate with Commercial Account Manager to assess financing needs.
• Negotiate credit terms with Credit Risk Management as needed.
• Present preliminary credit applications to RVP for profitability checks.
• Produce and update client files to ensure efficient processing.
• Serve as a credit matters resource and support skills development.
• Identify sector risks inherent to the client base.
