Job summary

Knox College, a Presbyterian theological college in Toronto, seeks a Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations to lead fundraising, alumni relations, and communications. You will report to the Principal, serve on the Senior Leadership Team, and guide a donor-centered strategy across major gifts, campaigns, and annual giving.

The role requires a seasoned fundraiser with strong leadership, public-speaking skills, and deep engagement with Presbyterian church constituencies.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years in major-gifts fundraising with donor cultivation success.
• Active membership in a professional fundraising association.
• Strategic thinking and complex advancement project experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic fundraising, major gifts, annual and planned giving.
• Grow major-gifts portfolio and manage donor relationships.
• Oversee communications and marketing for advancement and alumni relations.
• Engage congregations and church partners to support Knox College.
• Represent Knox College at denominational events and meetings.
