Job summary

Hillel Ontario is seeking a Senior Development Officer to lead fundraising efforts, cultivating and soliciting a portfolio of donors and supporting annual campaigns. Reporting to the VP, Advancement, you will build meaningful donor relationships and collaborate with campus teams to achieve revenue goals.

You will travel across Ontario to engage parents, alumni, and community members, delivering strategic stewardship and recognizing donor impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proven success cultivating and soliciting major gifts and stewardship.
• Experience creating and managing annual or capital fundraising campaigns.
• Strong written and verbal communication and donor engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Steward and solicit a portfolio of donors with face-to-face cultivation and donor asks.
• Support annual fundraising campaigns and development plans.
• Travel across Ontario to cultivate and steward donor relationships.
• Partner with VP, Advancement to set portfolio priorities and revenue goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to connect donors with programs and impact.
