Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Administrator II for a hybrid role based in Calgary, AB. You will manage distributed desktop and laptop systems, handle installations, configurations, preventive maintenance, and help desk tasks for 6,000+ users.

The role includes remote and in-office support, with up to ~5% travel within Canada for office moves. You will work in a collaborative team, providing Tier 1-2 support and contributing to system reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–5 years of desktop administration experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.

Responsibilities

• Provides Tier 1-2 helpdesk support in a 6,000+ user enterprise.
• Supports both remote and in-office users, ensuring SLA targets are met.
• Assists with desktop software deployments, imaging, and patching.
• Maintains hardware assets and inventory records.
• On-call desktop administration rotation as needed.
• Trains employees and assists system administrators as required.
