Job summary

Cassels is recruiting a Corporate Services Compliance & Audit Coordinator in Toronto. You will perform routine audits, compile data reports and support the Corporate Services Compliance & Audit team to maintain data integrity and reduce risk.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a law firm focusing on database management, regulatory compliance and strong communication with clients and legal professionals. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm with emphasis on database management and annual compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of legal software including Athennian.
• Experience in corporate governance and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to communicate with clients and all levels of legal professionals.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and data analytics for compliance and audit.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and delivering monthly lawyer communications regarding maintenance obligations.
• Liaise on audit processes for the annual maintenance team leads.
• Complete routine audits and compile reports to maintain records integrity.
• Identify process gaps and make training recommendations.
• Collaborate with the Supervisor for ongoing support.
