Job summary

Liberty Mutual Canada is seeking an Associate Underwriter to join our Construction team. The role focuses on underwriting, marketing, maintaining and growing an assigned Construction portfolio spanning property and casualty lines, including commercial package, automobile, contractors’ equipment, and possibly builders risk and wrap-up.

You will build broker relationships, analyze risk, and collaborate with other Liberty units to pursue multi-line opportunities while delivering excellent service

Qualifications

• University degree in business, engineering or applied science preferred.
• Related insurance industry experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to present to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and market construction portfolio (property & casualty).
• Maintain broker relationships and develop a pipeline of clients.
• Collaborate with Liberty units to pursue multi-line opportunities.
• Demonstrate prioritization and deliver superior service to brokers and clients.
