Job summary

Covalen in Laval, QC is seeking an experienced insurance professional to build client relationships, analyze needs, and develop new business opportunities in property and casualty insurance. You will collaborate with brokers and clients, present tailored solutions, and contribute to growth while traveling within Quebec.

Fluency in French and English and a valid AMF license are required. This hybrid role offers group insurance, RRSP, vacation, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, brokerage or business development is preferred.
• Valid AMF license is required.
• Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) to interact with clients and partners outside Quebec.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and strengthen trusting relationships with prospective clients, ensuring a high-quality client experience.
• Analyze insurance needs and formulate tailored recommendations aligned with clients' realities and challenges.
• Implement prospecting strategies to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Develop proposals, present solutions to clients, negotiate terms, and close deals.
• Contribute to achieving, and exceeding, growth and retention targets.
• Develop and maintain effective collaborations with partner brokers, clients, and their business networks.
• Provide regular follow-up with clients to stay present, anticipate needs, and support their growth
• Develop and execute an annual action plan aligned with departmental priorities and objectives.
• Actively participate in business networks and events to increase visibility and expand your network
