Job summary

Co-operators in Calgary seeks a Bodily Injury Claims Representative II to investigate, negotiate, and resolve complex bodily injury claims. You will engage with claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses, applying coverage interpretation and autonomous decision-making.

The role includes mentoring the claims team, delivering exceptional client service, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. A minimum of three years of claims experience and a post-secondary degree are required;

Qualifications

• Three years of claims or related business experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma completed.
• CIP designation is an asset.
• Direct experience in Bodily Injury is an asset.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on province of work.
• CIP designation currently held or pursued is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Investigating, interpreting coverage, negotiating and making decisions autonomously, to resolve complex bodily injury claims.
• Contacting claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Coaching, training, and providing technical support to the claims team.
• Providing exceptional client service in accordance with our claims service and quality standards.
