Job summary

CGIC is seeking a Bodily Injury Claims Representative II to join our Claims team. This regular full-time role focuses on the investigation, negotiation, and resolution of complex bodily injury claims and operates with a hybrid work model (2 days in office).

You will contact claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses, provide client-focused service, and coach team members. A post-secondary degree or diploma and CIP designation are required or pursued, with licensure as a provincial adjuster

Qualifications

• Three years of claims or related business experience.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma.
• Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation.
• Provincial adjuster license(s) depending on province of work.
• CIP designation is an asset if already held.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, interpret coverage, negotiate and resolve complex bodily injury claims.
• Contact claimants, clients, lawyers and witnesses in the investigation and resolution of claims.
• Coach, train, and provide technical support to the claims team.
• Provide exceptional client service in accordance with claims service and quality standards.
