Job summary

Aviva Canada is seeking an Auto Damage Appraiser (Image Desk Appraiser) for our Markham Office. The role reviews and evaluates electronic repair estimates, controls repair methods and costs, and completes total loss evaluations, while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Auto Estimating experience, multi-province exposure, and strong knowledge of repair processes and estimating systems.

Qualifications

• Auto Estimating experience (3-5 year minimum)
• Multi-provincial experience an asset
• Familiar with industry standard Estimating System(s)
• Good technical aptitude with databases/systems
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate electronic repair estimates in line with standards
• Control method and cost of repairs using industry practices and guidelines
• Complete Total loss evaluations through market searches
• Complete remote appraisals
• Deliver a positive end-customer experience
