Job summary

Willson International is seeking an Air/Ocean Import Analyst to manage cross-border shipments from Canada. This role requires liaising with customs, clients, and carriers to clear imports, inputting data into our systems, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement (1 day in office, 4 days remote), with a salary range of $47,000 to $61,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma is required, post-secondary education preferred.
• Minimum 3-4 years releasing goods in a customs brokerage environment - Air/Ocean.
• CCS designation is an asset.
• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products.
• An eye for detail is critical for success in the role.
• A proactive problem solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with multiple third parties (Canada Customs, clients, shipping companies) to ensure international Air/Ocean imports are cleared for entry into Canada.
• Input required information into our database using multiple computer programs.
• Communicate with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments (Logistics and Finance) and government agencies to resolve discrepancies.
