Job summary

Willson International is seeking an Import Analyst to liaise with Canada Customs, clients, and carriers to ensure truck freight imports clear into Canada. The role uses multiple software tools to input data and requires strong communication with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in a customs brokerage environment, a High School Diploma, proficiency in MS Office, and attention to detail. Remote work from anywhere in Canada is offered, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Canada Customs, clients and shipping companies to clear international Truck Freight imports.
• Input required information into internal database using multiple computer programs.
• Communicate with clients and transportation carriers via email and phone.
• Partner with internal departments (Logistics, Finance) and government agencies to resolve discrepancies.

Shift

Monday to Friday – 11 pm to 7 am (EST)

KeyQualifications

• Clearance & Rating experience required
• High School Diploma required
• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a Customs Brokerage environment, clearing ground shipments
• Proficiency in MS Office and database skills
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written is required
• Accuracy and attention to detail is required
• CCS designation is an asset

Descriptionof Role

• As an Import Analyst, you are responsible for liaising with multiple third parties (including Canada Customs, our clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international Truck Freight imports are cleared for entry into Canada.
• Use multiple computer programs to input required information into our database
• Communicate with clients, and transportation carriers via email and phone
• Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies
