Job summary

Fed Finance Canada is seeking an Accounts Payable Technician for a temporary role in downtown Montreal (Peel area) with a hybrid schedule: four days remote and one day on-site weekly. You will support the centralized AP team, manage vendor invoices, and help optimize processes in a tech-driven, international environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in AP, a formal accounting credential, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, plus NetSuite experience.

Qualifications

• DEP, AEC or DEC in Accounting.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Experience in a tech-driven or high-growth environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable cycle and vendor invoices.
• Enter invoices into the ERP and prepare payment batches.
• Follow up on payments with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with month-end close and process automation initiatives.
