Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a CPA-level financial professional to support the financial management of a major government contract. You will handle invoicing, receivables, reporting, GST submissions, and subcontractor payments in a fast-paced, hybrid Canada-based role.

If you bring 3+ years of experience, strong Excel skills, ERP familiarity (JD Edwards), and solid budgeting/forecasting abilities, you will thrive in a collaborative environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of MS-Office, particularly Excel.
• Comfortable with ERP systems; JD Edwards experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare client and supplier invoices; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Track overdue receivables and ensure timely receipt of all amounts owing.
• Review all cheque processing and fund transfers.
• Create and prepare monthly finance and accounting reports.
• Process and prepare GST/HST/PST submissions.
• Prepare and submit subcontractors' payment reports.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Support Operations personnel and respond to ad-hoc requests.
