AtkinsRéalis Group in Toronto seeks an Accounting Analyst to support financial management for a major government contract. You will handle invoicing, receivables, GST/HST/PST submissions and monthly reconciliations while delivering timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• CPA or CPA candidate with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with JD Edwards ERP is an asset.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Processes and prepares client and supplier invoices; troubleshoots and resolves issues.
• Tracks overdue receivables and ensures timely receipt of all amounts owing.
• Reviews cheques processing and funds transfers.
• Prepares monthly finance and accounting reports.
• Processes GST/HST/PST submissions.
• Prepares subcontractors' payment reports.
• Prepares monthly account reconciliations and resolves outstanding items.
• Supports Operations personnel and responds to ad-hoc requests.
