Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking a Cost Controller to join our project controls team. You will develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems, and coordinate EcoSys deployments with training and support.

You will track expenditures against budgets, prepare monthly cost reports and dashboards, maintain records of budgets, costs, forecasts, accruals, and cash flow projections, and work with PMs and procurement to optimize costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of cost control experience on major EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, cost allocation, and financial risk management.
• Proficiency in Ecosys and related project controls software.
• Advanced Excel, Primavera P6, Power BI proficiency.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project controls systems and standards for cost management.
• Coordinate EcoSys cost control tool implementation, training, and support.
• Track and report expenditures vs budgets and forecasts; prepare monthly reports, variance analyses, and dashboards.
• Maintain records of budgets, actual costs, forecasts, accruals, and cash flow projections.
• Collaborate with project managers, discipline leads, and procurement to update forecasts and evaluate change orders.
• Support contract management and invoicing with cost insights.
• Participate in project meetings to provide controls updates and ensure compliance.
