Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Electric Power Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of EMTDC studies and HVDC system simulations.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail when solving complex problems.
- Structured approach to engineering tasks and time‑sensitive deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Perform phasor (RMS) and transient (EMT) simulation studies for HVDC systems.
- Verify dynamic performance of HVDC control and protection systems.
- Convert large power system models into network equivalents for advanced simulations.
- Develop system models across multiple power system analysis tools.
- Support factory system tests and real‑time simulator activities.
- Present engineering insights and participate in project meetings.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout tender and execution phases.
- Share best practices across global engineering communities.
