Hitachi Energy Canada Inc. in Montréal seeks an experienced System Simulation Engineer to model and optimize HVDC technologies. You will run phasor and EMT simulations, validate dynamic behavior of HVDC controls, and translate large power system models into compact equivalents for advanced analysis.

Ideally you hold an MSc/PhD in Electric Power Engineering with 2+ years of EMTDC HVDC experience using PSCAD, PSSE, EMTP‑RV or PowerFactory, and you communicate well in an international setting.

• MSc or PhD in Electric Power Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with EMTDC studies and HVDC system simulations (e.g., PSCAD, PSSE, EMTP‑RV, PowerFactory).
