Role Description – HVAC Tradesperson (Apprentice to Journeyman)

This is a full-time, on-site role located in St. John’s, NL for an HVAC Tradesperson, open to apprentices through journeyman level. The role involves installing, fabricating, servicing, and repairing HVAC and sheet metal systems on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities may include:

• Fabrication and installation of HVAC ductwork and sheet metal components
• Installation of HVAC equipment, ventilation systems, and accessories
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Using hand tools, power tools, and trade-specific equipment safely
• Measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling materials as specified
• Working collaboratively with crew members to meet project schedules
• Maintaining quality workmanship and job-site safety standards

Duties will vary based on experience level and trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Registered HVAC or Sheet Metal Apprentice or Journeyman
• Experience in HVAC installation, sheet metal, or related mechanical trades
• Ability to work from blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Welding experience is an asset
• Commercial construction experience preferred
