HVAC REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Location: Tsawwassen

We are seeking an energetic and professional Refrigeration Repairer to service, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration, air-conditioning, and related equipment to the highest standards. Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical failures, acquiring necessary parts, testing repairs, and documenting repair details. You will also advise supervisors on work progress and equipment condition, and mentor new employees and trades helpers.

You should be able to clearly convey technical information through sketches and drawings, document work concisely and legibly, and analyze problems to initiate solutions.

Minimum qualifications include:

1. BC or Inter-Provincial Refrigeration Trades Qualification
2. Environmental Awareness Course on Ozone Depleting Substances
3. Basic knowledge of WCB regulations and safe work practices
4. Knowledge of air-conditioning control systems and relevant codes and regulations
5. Experience with installation of new equipment

Additional assets include stainless steel welding and fabricating skills. The position involves travel.
