Job summary

The Groupe Master is seeking an energetic Assistant Branch Director to lead our Windsor HVAC/R counter and wholesale showroom, driving daily walk-in business and top-notch service for local contractors.

You will partner with the Branch Director to supervise frontline staff, optimize merchandising, and build a high-performance culture. Compensation ranges from CAD 60,000 to CAD 75,000 with annual bonus potential and full benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced wholesale counter or commercial parts environment (HVAC/R preferred).
Proven ability to manage long lines, high call volumes, and demanding contractor clientele with patience and professionalism.
Strong comfort with counter merchandising, cross-selling, and running POS systems.
Solid understanding of HVAC/R systems, components, tools, and accessories.

Responsibilities

Counter Leadership: Direct daily counter operations, manage staff scheduling, and coach team on upselling and product identification.
Contractor Relations: Be the primary face for walk-in contractors and resolve service issues on the spot.
Merchandising & Sales: Maintain a well-stocked showroom and execute seasonal promotions to maximize margins.
Inventory Coordination: Align stock levels with demand and minimize discrepancies between counter and warehouse.
