The Outside Sales Representative maintains strong relationships with existing customers and develops new business by offering professional, effective, and efficient solutions. The role involves promoting and selling products to meet sales targets and achieve results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with existing customers to secure ongoing sales and maintain relationships.
  • Promote and sell existing and new products and services to optimize the customer base.
  • Provide professional solutions to customer inquiries.
  • Offer quotations, technical support, literature, and other materials.
  • Identify new market opportunities and potential customer needs, tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Provide direction, training, coaching, and leadership to branch employees.
  • Address customer concerns regarding inventory and delivery to maintain loyalty.
  • Participate in setting and achieving branch sales objectives.
  • Advise on pricing strategies to meet margin expectations while gaining large or new accounts.
  • Communicate proactively with branch management about customer relationships and issues.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions, products, and services to customers and management.
  • Participate in trade shows, training, and product meetings as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in wholesale distribution.
  • Knowledge of HVAC industry products.
  • Proven sales and cold-calling experience.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independent work ethic with effective territory and account management skills.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Initiative and teamwork orientation.
  • Highly organized with multitasking ability.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000, plus additional compensation and commissions.
