Job summary

Carmichael Engineering Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Journeyperson to install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems at our Ottawa site.

You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards while delivering excellent service. The ideal candidate holds a Journeyperson certification in HVAC/Refrigeration, with BAS/Controls experience as an asset, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification in HVAC/Refrigeration required.
• BAS/Controls experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
