Job summary

Carmichael Engineering Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Journeyperson for the Charlottetown area to install, service, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.

You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and uphold safety standards while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates hold a Journeyperson certification in HVAC/Refrigeration, with asset-like experience in gas/oil burners and BAS/Controls.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Experience with gas/oil burners and BAS/Controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Journeyperson certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Qualification and experience on gas / oil / burners an asset
• BAS/Controls experience an asset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
