Job summary

Carmichael Engineering in Calgary, AB is seeking an HVAC Journeyperson to join our team. You will install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, ensuring work meets our safety standards and client expectations.

The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman certification in HVAC/Refrigeration, has experience with gas/oil burners and BAS/Controls, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Gas/oil burners experience considered an asset.
• BAS/Controls experience considered an asset.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC/refrigeration issues.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.

Local 488 union raes

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• Journeyman certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Qualification and experience on gas / oil / burners an asset
• BAS/Controls experience an asset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
