Job summary

Carmichael Engineering Ltd. in Calgary is seeking an experienced HVAC Journeyperson to install, maintain and repair heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems across client sites. You will troubleshoot, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Journeyman certification required; valid driver's license; BAS/controls experience a plus. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certification in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Qualification and experience on gas / oil / burners an asset
• BAS/Controls experience an asset
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

Salary Range: Local 488 union raes
