Job summary

O'Dell HVAC Group in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Engineering Sales Representative to build and maintain relationships with engineering firms, consultants, and contractors, driving product specifications and ensuring our solutions are included in project designs. You will collaborate with internal teams on bids and pricing, travel regionally, and contribute to our growth in the HVAC market.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, HVAC or related technical field.
• Minimum five years in an engineering sales-based role within HVAC.
• Knowledge of Nova Scotia Building Code Regulations and ASHRAE standards.
• Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM/ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive product specifications and influence design decisions with engineering firms to secure O'Dell solutions in projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Collaborate with Sales, Estimating and Project Management on bids and pricing.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the mechanical contracting community.
• Deliver product presentations and trainings for engineers and clients.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot mechanical equipment with the Technical Support Team.
• Attend manufacturer trainings and industry events to stay current on HVAC technologies.
• Other duties as assigned.
