Job summary

Carmichael Engineering in Paradise, NL is seeking an HVAC Apprentice (3rd year or higher) to join our team. You will install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure safe, high-quality service for our clients.

Applicants should hold an apprentice HVAC/Refrigeration certification (3rd year+), with a willingness to learn BAS/Controls, valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Local union apprenticeship rates apply.

Qualifications

• HVAC/Refrigeration apprentice certification (3rd year or higher).
• Gas/oil/burners experience is a plus.
• BAS/Controls experience is an asset.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Salary Range: Local Union 740 apprentice rates

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

Requirements:
