Rising Edge Group is hiring Electrical Apprentice to assist with the installation and maintenance of substation equipment. You’ll gain hands-on experience with grounding grids, structural steel, and power system equipment under the supervision of a Journeyperson Electrician.

The position requires knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel. Safety is emphasized, with camp or LOA accommodations for out-of-town projects and a clear path to

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Apprentice (Construction or Industrial Electrician) with BC eligibility.
• Solid knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and safety requirements.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willing to travel within British Columbia and work out of town as required.

Responsabilités

• Support installation and maintenance of low/high voltage equipment in substations.
• Assist with grounding grids, structural steel erection, and equipment assembly.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain high‑voltage transformers and related gear.
• Follow safe work practices and work under a Journeyperson Electrician supervision.
