The Canadian Human Resource Manager role will be an on-site position in our Concord, Ontario location providing hands-on support to one or more sites. This position will act as the primary HR contact for employees and leaders within assigned sites, focusing on employee relations, culture & engagement, coaching & manager development, managing HR processes, recruitment activities, policy management, HR data processing as well as onboarding and offboarding activities. Additionally, this position will assist with other HR-related initiatives and projects as needed to support both the HR team and the broader organization in Canada. They will partner with site management to drive a positive workplace culture, workforce planning and talent retention. As the in country HR resource supporting the company’s Canadian operations, this role holds primary accountability for Canadian statutory HR compliance and will lead special HR projects across the Canadian business, escalating complex matters to the Chief Human Resources Officer as needed.
Supports day-to-day HR operations including assisting with processing employee changes and new hires, assisting with recruiting, administering compensation activities, managing unemployment claims, running HR reports, and responding to HR inquiries. Provides support for terminations, create/maintain job descriptions, and helps facilitate New Hire Orientation. Conducts employee relations investigations, assists with drug and alcohol program management, compiles HR metrics, and supports employee surveys. Contributes to key HR projects including but not limited to required reporting, HR policy development and implementation, employee training administration, and all other applicable human resources compliance requirements as requested or directed by the CHRO.
Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Requires frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Requires occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling weight up to 20 pounds (9 kg). Requires repetitive hand movement. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
PAG Facility location (Concord, Ontario, Canada)
This role requires occasional day/overnight travel to other Company Canadian locations as needed. (25% or less)

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required or commensurate additional years of experience.
Minimum of six years of HR generalist type experience supporting over 150 employees, multiple site support, and multiple HR functional areas, with employee relations experience preferred.
HR certification (CHRL, CHRP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
