Job summary

Job description

Healwell AI is a healthcare AI company focused on preventative care, using AI technology to help detect rare and chronic diseases early. Their AI clinical co-pilot technologies assist physicians, improving healthcare efficiency and patient outcomes. They've partnered with WELL Health, giving them access to a vast network of healthcare providers in Canada. Healwell AI also has an ecosystem of companies including AI engines, EHR platforms, data management software, and clinical research services.

Responsibilities :

  • HR Operations Oversight : Lead day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding / offboarding, performance management, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Policy Implementation : Ensure consistent application of HR policies developed by senior leadership, providing input based on operational needs.
  • Managerial Support : Partner with the Director of People & Culture to implement HR programs and provide coaching to managers on employee engagement and development.
  • Payroll Processing : Support accurately process monthly and semimonthly payrolls, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls.
  • Employee Support : Address and resolve payroll inquiries from employees promptly and effectively, maintaining a high level of service and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience with payroll administration and supporting HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions is essential.
  • HR certifications (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and payroll regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP WorkforceNow) and data reporting tools.
