Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager plays a key role in executing the company’s HR strategy and delivering high-quality HR services across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, HR operations, compliance, and payroll. The HR Manager acts as a partner to leadership and employees, ensuring alignment between people practices and business goals, while fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Execution: Support the Director of HR in implementing HR initiatives that drive business performance, employee engagement, and operational effectiveness.
- Employee Relations: Advise managers and employees on conflict resolution, progressive discipline, investigations, and workplace concerns to support a fair and respectful environment.
- Recruitment & Staffing: Oversee full-cycle recruitment for assigned roles, partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialist as needed. Support managers through role scoping, interviewing, offer processes, and onboarding.
- Performance Management: Lead performance management processes and support leaders in delivering feedback, coaching, and performance improvement plans.
- HR Operations: Manage day-to-day HR administration including employee records, onboarding/offboarding, and HRIS accuracy.
- Payroll Oversight: Supervise the payroll process completed by the HR Coordinator/Payroll Administrator. Serve as a backup for payroll processing when required, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. Assist in developing and updating policies in alignment with legal and organizational changes.
- Leadership Coaching: Act as a trusted advisor to people managers, building leadership capability and supporting team development.
- Talent Development: Support training initiatives, succession planning, and employee development programs in alignment with business needs.
- Culture & Engagement: Drive employee engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives that promote a healthy, inclusive, and productive workplace.
- Collaboration: Partner with the Director of HR, Talent Acquisition Specialist, and HR Coordinator/Payroll Admin to ensure smooth HR service delivery.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Manager in a dynamic, fast-paced organization
- Strong experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management
- Proven oversight and/or direct experience with payroll processes
- CHRP or CHRL designation preferred
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Demonstrated ability to coach leaders and influence decision-making
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Working Conditions:
- On-site (in office 8am – 5pm Monday-Friday)
- Some travel to sites may be required

Starting Salary: $85,000-$95,000 per year
