Job summary

NLG - Next Level Group supports a Central PEI client in hiring an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead the HR function of a unionized operation. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution in workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, retention, and organizational development.

The successful candidate will guide managers on HR and employee relations, administer collective agreement provisions, ensure compliance with Canadian employment standards, and drive HR

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Experience in a unionized environment
• Strong knowledge of labour relations and collective agreement administration
• Experience managing grievances and employee relations matters
• Knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR compliance
• Experience with recruitment, workforce planning, retention, and succession planning
• Strong communication, leadership, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
• HR-related post-secondary education
• CPHR/CHRP designation is an asset
• Knowledge of Canadian immigration and immigration pathways is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership with HR guidance and recommendations to support operational goals
