Job description

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Human Resources Manager oversees all human resources functions including but not limited to staffing, training and development, performance monitoring, employee attendance, benefit administration and health and safety. Collaborating with leadership, supervisors, and employees, the HR Manager will address workforce challenges and improve overall organizational effectiveness.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all staffing, recruitment and selection requirements for the organization.
  2. Facilitate training and development initiatives and be responsible for leading new initiatives.
  3. Support managers with performance management requirements and lead new initiatives.
  4. Monitor employee attendance and support managers with interventions.
  5. Support the Executive Director with any HR or operational related initiatives.
  6. Carry out and administer all new employee orientation functions.
  7. Manage the organization’s Health and Safety program.
  8. Manage benefits administration and communication processes.
  9. Prepare HR reports when required.
  10. Perform other related duties as required.
