Human Resources Manager

**This is a 5-day in-office position.**

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This role is pivotal in aligning HR strategies with business goals, managing labor relations, and supporting organizational development in a unionized manufacturing environment.

Job Description
  • Act as a strategic HR partner to achieve divisional objectives
  • Lead and develop the HR team
  • Administer and interpret collective agreements; serve as a labor relations expert
  • Maintain strong relationships with union representatives and manage grievances, disciplinary actions, and legal recourse
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labor laws
  • Oversee talent management processes and support the implementation of Dayforce HRIS modules
  • Finalize HRIS interfaces related to employee benefits
  • Support workforce planning and organizational development
  • Participate in collective agreement negotiations
  • Attend plant management and committee meetings (OHS, francization, mobilization, etc.)
  • Coach managers on HR and leadership practices
  • Ensure compliance with pay equity and lead related assessments
  • Develop internal communication strategies related to HR and labor relations
  • Manage the HR budget
Must-Haves
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, HR Management, or Business Administration
  • 5–10 years of HR and/or labor relations experience
  • Experience in a unionized manufacturing setting
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws
  • Experience with HRIS implementation
  • Understanding of total rewards
  • Agility in business transformation contexts
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills in French
  • Influential, collaborative, and mobilizing leadership style

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Boucherville,QC J4B 5Z5.
