Since 2017, Big Country has grown from a one-truck operation to over 200 employees and over 50 fully equipped service trucks and 40 light vehicles. We are a trusted partner in the industry and recognized for our commitment to safety, reliability, quality, and exceptional service.
Big Country Equipment Repair is growing, and we're looking for an HR Generalist who wants to help build something—not just maintain it.
This is a new role within Big Country and an exciting opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys being hands‑on, solving problems, researching legislation, improving processes, and working closely with employees and leaders.
Working alongside the People & Talent Manager, you will help build and implement HR policies, processes, programs, and tools that support our growing, multi‑provincial organization.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed an HR program to maintain. You’ll help build it!
You’ll work closely with the People & Talent Manager and have the opportunity to make a real impact as we develop HR practices that support our employees and our continued growth across Canada.
At Big Country Equipment Repair, we are committed to creating a workplace where everyone is treated fairly, respectfully, and with dignity. We value the different backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and skills that each person brings to our team.
We are committed to fair and equitable employment practices and equal opportunities throughout the recruitment and employment process. Hiring decisions are based on qualifications, experience, skills, performance, and business needs, without discrimination on grounds protected by applicable legislation.
We welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds. If you require accommodation during the recruitment process, please let us know so we can work with you to provide a fair and accessible experience.
