Boundary Electric is seeking a collaborative and hands-on HR Business Partner to support our growing organization and strengthen people practices, culture, and employee experience. You’ll be the primary HR partner for leaders and employees, providing strategic guidance and day-to-day support across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • CPHR designation (or working toward it) considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR or People & Culture experience.
  • Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle.
  • Strong background in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Experience with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and legislative compliance.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Promote employee growth opportunities and career development conversations.
  • Identify capability gaps and recommend development strategies.
  • Support payroll administration and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Assist with benefits, pension, and wellness program administration.
  • Maintain accurate compensation and benefits records.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll reporting and year-end requirements.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational standards.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support internal audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote confidentiality, ethical practices, and sound governance.
  • Champion initiatives that strengthen engagement and workplace culture.
  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging efforts.
  • Coordinate recognition, wellness, and engagement programs.
  • Contribute to HR communications that reinforce organizational values and objectives.

Boundary Electric is seeking a collaborative and hands‑on HR Business Partner to support our growing organization and help strengthen our people practices, culture, and employee experience. As the primary human resources partner for leaders and employees, you will provide both strategic guidance and day‑to‑day HR support across the full employee lifecycle.

This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building relationships, and brings a practical, people‑focused approach to HR. You’ll work closely with leaders to attract and retain talent, support performance and development, enhance engagement, and ensure compliance with employment legislation and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
  • Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Support workforce planning, organizational design discussions, and talent development strategies.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance, and people management.
  • Contribute to HR metrics, reporting, and insights that support informed decision‑making.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment across a variety of roles.
  • Support employer branding and talent attraction strategies.

Employee Relations & Performance Support
