Matchbox is working with a fast-growing company in construction and logistics that’s looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join their team in Surrey. If you’re someone who thrives on variety, wants real ownership, and enjoys shaping both people strategy and brand presence, this role offers a rare chance to do both under one roof.

You’ll lead recruitment, culture, and internal structure while also driving marketing strategy across multiple business units. It’s a hands-on role with big-picture impact, perfect for someone who wants to grow with a company that’s scaling fast and thinking long term.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance review cycles across several business units
• Develop and implement HR policies in line with BC employment standards
• Support workforce planning and employee engagement efforts
• Build and execute marketing plans that promote the brand in construction, transportation, and civil services
• Oversee social media, website updates, digital campaigns, and marketing content
• Coordinate community events, trade shows, and client-facing initiatives
• Maintain consistent internal and external communications in line with company values
• Report HR and marketing metrics to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in construction, logistics, or a similar industry
• Familiarity with BC labour laws and modern HR practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Experience with digital marketing, branding, and social platforms
• Education in HR, marketing, or a related discipline
