HR Generalist

At Humani, we are a team of modern-thinking HR professionals. The HR Generalist will support HR Business Partners for multiple clients across various jurisdictions and industries. The ideal candidate can help clients with complex people and culture issues by finding and implementing customized solutions. Location and Work Model

We are looking for a British Columbia-based HR Generalist to join our team. Our hybrid work model involves remote work with onsite support at various client sites. Some travel may be required.

What You Will Do

  1. Day-to-day HR support: Support HR Business Partners with onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, investigations, health and safety, and other HR activities.
  2. Compliance Support: Ensure all HR processes comply with local employment laws and regulations, including policy creation, handbooks, and audits.
  3. Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume review, interviews, reference checks, and offer letters.
  4. Software Management: Oversee HR software updates, manage HRIS implementations, and support LMS and other software tools.
  5. Project Support: Support HR programs, performance management, compensation analysis, KPI reporting, and project tracking.
  6. On-site HR Support: Provide on-site support for client activities, meetings, investigations, and inspections.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 2 years in a client-facing HR support role.
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-cycle high-volume recruitment experience.
  • A degree or diploma in HR or a related field.
  • Professional HR designation (CHRP) is an asset.
  • HR Compliance: Knowledge of employment legislation and relevant regulations.
  • Time Management: Self-motivated, flexible, and deadline-oriented.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data and reports meticulously.
  • Attention to Detail: Produce client-ready documents and reports.
  • Passion for HR: Stay updated on HR trends and future developments.
  • Problem Solving: Work through issues with limited information and take initiative.
  • Organizational Skills: Be organized and efficient in problem-solving and implementation.
  • Communication Skills: Interact professionally with clients’ employees at all levels.
  • Technology Skills: Experience with HR systems, Microsoft Office, Google Drive, HRIS, and payroll software.
  • Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles.
