Description

Location: Corman Park, SK (Near Warman, Martensville and Saskatoon)

Position: Full-time Permanent

Are you a relationship-builder who thrives on making meaningful impact? Do you love partnering with leaders to create strong teams, drive organizational success, and make people strategies come to life? If you’re a strategic thinker and proactive problem solver who communicates with clarity and confidence — we want to meet you.

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you’ll be a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and senior leaders — helping shape a workplace where people and performance thrive. You’ll bring insight, initiative, and influence to every conversation, guiding leaders through workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and organizational design.

This role is ideal for someone who’s both a big-picture thinker and a hands‑on partner — someone who builds credibility quickly, takes initiative, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to make things happen.

What You’ll Do

  • Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with leaders to identify workforce needs, succession plans, and strategies that drive organizational effectiveness.

  • Advise and Coach: Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, and workplace culture.

  • Lead with Data: Use metrics and analytics to spot trends, identify risks, and inform decision‑making around recruitment, engagement, retention, and talent.

  • Champion Change: Support leaders through organizational change, ensuring people strategies align with business priorities.

  • Connect and Influence: Build strong, trusted relationships across departments — bridging employees, managers, and HR’s functional specialists.

  • Lead HR Initiatives: Develop HR strategies and lead projects that strengthen organizational effectiveness and advance agency priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • University degree in human resource management, business administration, or related field.

  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience.

  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication skills — clear, collaborative, and confident.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to build and connect people initiatives to business outcomes.

  • A self-starter — proactive, resourceful, and comfortable navigating complexity.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment legislation, and organizational development principles.

Why Join Us

You’ll be part of a collaborative HR team that values curiosity, courage, and connection. We believe great workplaces are built on trust, respect, and the shared commitment to continuous improvement — and we’re looking for someone who shares that philosophy.

What We Offer:

  • A comprehensive total rewards package that supports your well-being and professional development.

  • Flexible work schedules, recognition programs, and a supportive, collaborative culture.

  • The opportunity to lead in an organization committed to values of Service Excellence, Integrity, Accountability, Empowerment, and Teamwork.

Additional Requirements

The incumbent is responsible for completing all mandatory training requirements for the position as per agency policy and guidelines.

Annual Salary range is $72,987.20 to $94,328.00 commensurate with relevant experience and demonstrated skills.
