Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HR professional to support the organization’s HR functions in Durham Region, Ontario. The role leads full-cycle recruitment, oversees onboarding and training, and supports managers with performance management and employee development initiatives.

The ideal candidate has a CHRP designation, at least two years of HR experience, and strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CHRP designation is required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience in human resources or employee relations.
• Experience working within a unionized environment.
• Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
