Position Summary:
HR Assistant who has outstanding administrative and leadership skills. You will be responsible for day-to-day HR job duties focusing on Payroll, timesheet administration and Health & Safety area.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment- sourcing resumes, pre-screen candidates, scheduling interviews, performing, reference checks.
  • Perform orientation for new hires, collect all documentation for new hire.
  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Serve as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Process weekly agency timesheets & Bi-weekly payroll.
  • Maintaining attendance sheets & employee record for agency employees.
  • Be an active member of health and safety committee & make sure all compliances are followed.
  • Provide exceptional support to HR Manager during HR Projects.
  • Take Initiatives for employment engagement activities.
  • Assist President/CEO for any administration support required.
  • Other HR & Administrative general duties as required.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • Excellent leadership skills and passion towards Human Resource and Administrative field.
  • Bachelor’s degree /Diploma/ other relevant education in human resources.
  • 2 years of experience as an HR assistant in Manufacturing environment.
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Exposure to payroll practices.
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage your time effectively.
