Employment Opportunity: Human Resource Assistant (Full-time / Permanent)

About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role will be an integral part of the department working on different HR functions that are not limited to Onboarding, Talent Acquisition, Offboarding, Engagement, Disability Management, Training, Volunteer Management, and HR Analytics.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background in Human Resources, Business Management, Public Administration or a combination of work experience will also be considered;
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the People Relations field;
  • Knowledge of PHIA, PIPEDA, FIPPA, ESM, MB Human Rights Code;
  • Ability to lead projects and multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to communicate with a diversified set of individuals demonstrating Integrity, Empathy, and Respect;
  • Experience working in the Non-Profit Sector will be considered an asset;
  • Valid Class 5F License and access to a vehicle required;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite & HRIS;

Additional Info:

  • Application is open until the position has been filled.
  • Hours of work: Monday-Friday, 75 hours bi-weekly.
  • Working Environment: 100% on-site at head office with periodical visits to different facilities of the organization across Niverville, St. Anne, La Broquerie, and Steinbach.
  • This position requires a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with a clear Vulnerable Sector Search and clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks.
